 To date, 102 collegiate teams are registered to play over 4 weeks, February 23 – March 23. Our Wesley Wolverines will contest 8 games through the week of March 2 – 9.

When the Wolverines hit the NC beach town, there are, so far, 20 DIII/ NCAA teams listed as possible opponents on Wesley’s schedule plus, nearby, playing the same week are 16 NJCAA (junior colleges) and 11 DII/ NCAA & NAIA (Intercollegiate programs) squads facing off on the fields of the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex (or the 2 fields at the Central Park facilities.) There also are 6 sports complex cameras to record all the LIVE action online.


EARLY NEWS FROM AROUND  

 The Cabrini Cavaliers will open the 2019 campaign (Sunday, February 24) with 10 contests over Spring Break in Clermont, FL (where the Wolverines played three seasons ago.) During the Cavaliers trip, they will face seven teams who collected at least 17 wins in 2018. CLICK HERE for the full story.

The Marywood Pacers have named John Butash as their new Head Softball Coach, after serving as an assistant coach since 2014. Butash brings 20-plus years of coaching experience to the Pacers’ dugout. In his first season as Assistant, Butash made an immediate impact with the program, helping guide the Pacers to the 2014 CSAC Championship and an NCAA tournament berth. The Gwynedd Mercy Griffins have handed the reins to David Hoch as their new Head Coach. Hoch served a stint as head coach at Penn State-Abington from 2011 to 2018. While at Abington, Hoch led the Lions to the playoffs five seasons in a row, including a pair of runner-up NEAC Championship appearances. In his eight seasons, he has amassed over 130 victories.
