ADULT SOFTBALL

Spring and fall trophies
Four Wolverine grads part of local

adult softball championship team

Softball is a game that you really CAN take with you. It doesn’t have to end in the last at-bat in school-ball.

It can be seven innings played well beyond high school or college whether it’s simple pickup games, or competitive corporate teams or hard-played adult leagues.

Last night, Monday, October 22, playoff games were contested late into the night for this Fall’s adult slow-pitch championship at Dover’s Schutte Park, Delaware.

Four Wesley College grads who played in past years wearing the fastpitch Wolverine uniform participated on the winning Knight’s Fine Jewelry team. They are Kayla Fromal, Lily Engel, Whitney Dibb and Wesley sports Hall of Fame member Kim Smith.

Earlier this past Spring, the Knights’ finished second of the seven league teams but played on to win the championship in the playoffs. This Fall, the Knights’ went undefeated throughout the season and playoffs to grab their second championship trophy this year.
